Dear 5th Grade Families, Middle School applications are now open. You will have until Friday, December 8th, to submit your ranked list in your MySchools account. ANNOUNCEMENTS AND REMINDERS
The Middle School Admissions Team from the Office of Student Enrollment has shared live virtual information sessions about applying to middle school. See info in the shaded box below.
Your Middle School Admissions Welcome letter with your MySchools account creation code was backpacked home with your child last week.
Please note that the listed Official Class is NOT your child's PS 29 class/room number. Official Class 501 is Mr. Gerloff, Official Class 502 is Ms. Monica, and Official Class 503 is Ms. Ghoshhajra and Ms. Stephanie.
You can now set up your MySchools account and add your child. You will need:
The account creation code (listed in the Welcome letter)
Your child's ID number (listed in the Welcome letter on the top right corner)
Random lottery numbers will be available to you on your MySchools account once you start your application.
Note the in-person tour sign ups that are currently available below.

October 11th: Middle School Applications open on MySchools
November 10th: Request for Testing for Mark Twain due in MySchools
December 8th: Deadline to submit auditions to MySchools
December 8th: Deadline to apply to Middle School
April 3rd: Offers released and waitlists open

D15 will hold a virtual district-wide Middle School admissions fair on Thursday, October 26th from 6:00-7:30 pm. Please see the event flyer for registration information. NOTE: We are aware that there are some schools not listed on the flyer. We are awaiting an updated version and will share it with you as soon as we receive it.
District 15 is also pleased to announce the opening of a new Middle School, MS 428 next fall.
