Fact fluency means that students know addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts from memory, OR are able to quickly recall or derive facts in isolation and when solving problems with larger numbers.
Research shows that substantial and enjoyable practice with math facts increases students' recall and retention.
FALP on Friday, February 7th will focus on math fluency. Families will learn games they can play at home with their children to help improve their math fluency.
